Aiden Mendoza is a Class of 2028 Fullback out of Waxahachie High School in Waxahachie, Texas. Mendoza just completed his freshman football season for the Indians and is looking to make a splash in his sophomore year and he has some goals in mind that will help him do so.
"One of my goals for the upcoming season is just to be a better player," Mendoza said. "I also want to do what I need to do on and off the field."
Mendoza knows that all components of being a team player are important, and he wants to make sure his character on the team and in the locker room is one that will help take the team to the next level.
"I will bring a lot of energy to the team," Mendoza said. "Things such as support and to be sure to hype them up when we need it. Also, just always helping someone who may have their head down."
The 5'6 180-pounder does not have any offers yet, but that could soon change for him if his level of play continues to elevate.
"I currently have a couple camp invites," Mendoza said. "I look forward to going out and competing at thse camps."
With a 3.0 GPA, Mendoza is already showing that while he may be a young freshman, that he knows the importance of a good GPA and that helping him get to the college level.
"The classroom is important," Mendoza said. "I also know what I want to major in already in school, which is either welding or construction."
